Toxic gases can be removed from the environment by the method of dry scrubbing.
Dry scrubbing can be further broken down into three methods:
- Activated or impregnated carbon
- Impregnated activated alumina
- And a combination of the above two via one or multiple banks of media

The following selection of media is used for odor control and can be considered by the type of contaminants, number of contaminants, Individual and total contaminant concentration(s) and the required media lifetime.
